Kodak Floor and Wall Vinyl is a textured, adhesive-backed vinyl at 18 mil and 409 gsm — the heaviest self-adhesive material in the Kodak range we hold. Kodak describes it as designed for both wall and floor graphic applications, which is a harder brief than it sounds: a floor graphic has to survive being walked on and stay non-slip, while a wall graphic has to conform to a surface that is rarely as flat as it looks.

Kodak’s stated service window covers short- to medium-term indoor and outdoor applications across all of the above. That is the honest boundary of the product — it is a campaign and event material, not a permanent floor covering.

Ink compatibility

Solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-curable inks are each rated compatible. It is not rated for aqueous printers. No aqueous dye or aqueous pigment rating exists on file for this vinyl. Note also that no chemistry here carries a BEST rating — all four are simply compatible, so profiling matters more on this material than on a stock with a designed-for chemistry.

Working with it

The texture on the face is functional rather than decorative: on a floor it is what gives underfoot grip, and on a wall it hides the substrate beneath. Kodak publishes no overlamination requirement for this vinyl, which is consistent with a material whose face is already engineered for traffic. Supplied in a single 48-inch roll width on 3-inch cores. This listing is pallet quantity, so it suits shops running floor and wall work as a standing line rather than as an occasional job.
