Dietzgen offers the 432 bond in yellow, pink, blue and green without stating what any one of them is for. In practice a tint is a filing and handling device: it makes a particular print identifiable in a stack without anyone having to read the title block. The paper itself is production stock — pen and pencil write on it for redlines, and it is compatible with common stapling and binding equipment.
Ink compatibility
BEST for toner, BEST for HP PageWide, and GOOD for aqueous dye, aqueous pigment, latex and UV inks. That is identical to the untinted 20 lb bond, so no change of settings is implied by moving to a tinted roll.
Working with it
At 88% opacity this is a single-sided sheet. Overlamination is not required; pressure-sensitive, heat-assist and thermal overlaminates can be applied where prints need protection from dirt, abrasion and moisture. Yellow is supplied in roll form only, 11 to 36 inches wide, on 3-inch cores, at 4 mil and 75 gsm. The four tints do not carry identical width ranges, so check that the width you need is offered in yellow.
