What Dietzgen 20LB Engineering Bond Paper Green Tinted (432G) is used for

The reason to stock a tint is organisational rather than technical. Dietzgen supplies the 432 bond in green, blue, pink and yellow and does not assign a meaning to any of them; which tint stands for which discipline, revision or copy is decided in your office, not on the datasheet. In every other respect this is ordinary production stock: pen and pencil write on it directly for redlines, and it feeds common stapling and binding equipment for hand-assembled plan sets.
Ink compatibility
Toner is rated BEST and HP PageWide is rated BEST. Aqueous dye, aqueous pigment, latex and UV inks are each rated GOOD. The profile is identical to the white 20 lb bond, which is the practical point: adding a tinted roll to the rack does not mean adding a second set of print settings.
Working with it
Opacity is 88%, so treat it as a single-sided sheet. Overlamination is not required, but pressure-sensitive, heat-assist and thermal overlaminates are all compatible if prints are going into the field and need protection from dirt, abrasion and moisture. Green is supplied in roll form only, 15 to 36 inches wide, on 3-inch cores — the four tints do not all share the same width range, so check the width against the colour before you order.
