Ink compatibility
Two chemistries are rated, both BEST: aqueous dye and aqueous pigment. Nothing else is rated — no latex, no solvent, no UV, no toner, no HP PageWide. That is exactly right for the application. Contract proofing is done on aqueous inkjet proofers, and a proofing paper has no reason to spread its coating across chemistries it will never meet.

The measured optical values are where a proof paper earns its keep. PROLINET1 reads 95% opacity, 90 brightness and 92 CIE whiteness. That whiteness figure sits well below the 120 to 150 CIE range Dietzgen’s display and coated-matte papers occupy, and a restrained white is closer to the commercial stock the job will actually print on.
